I’ve lived in many countries and worked for a lot of companies so far. So it is pretty difficult to keep track of all the people that I’ve met and had contact with. Xing is a online Web 2.0 solution much like LinkedIn and Facebook. It’s just not so overrun by kiddies and spammers. It’s not a free service and that’s probably why.

You have an address book and forums and other cool stuff but mainly it keeps your contacts fresh. You can trace who’s where doing what and nowadays that’s becoming ever more important than ever. I also moderate the Wellington Networking Forum within Xing. This group tries to meet-up once a month at a nice restaurant (always a different one) to get to know new people, exchange ideas or just to catch up on the goss. So if you want to have a look just follow the link below.
