A while back I remember Tom Yager (reporter from Enterprise Mac/InfoWorld) describing how someone nicked his brand new iPhone he was reviewing. To make things worse it wasn’t even his. It was a loan from Apple. I can just imagine the sinking feeling when you have to break such news. When reading the article I more than once thought “gee lucky that wasn’t me” …. not that I have an iPhone (…yet).
Anyway yesterday I discovered this nice resolution to a nasty story. If this guy wasn’t gunning for the publicity he’s a sure nice guy. Hope he can help with getting the culprit too. I wish more people would do such nice things. I sure hope I’d be so nice in the same situation (although I’d hope to be alert enough not to buy a stolen iPhone).
